Godson O. Moneke was Educated in Okongwu Memorial Grammar School, Nnewi, Yaba College of Technology, Lagos and University of Lagos, Lagos.
He became the Pioneer Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NIQS) at a very young age of 26 years. He has been involved in the development and epistemic issues in Quantity Surveying in Nigeria over the past 2 decades. He has edited many publications including books and Journals on Quantity Surveying body of knowledge and epistemology. He is a much sought after resource person whose views on professional issues and economy are highly respected. He is a great thinker with great gift of introspection.
He is a good manager of men and resources with the distinction of midnifying major development and fund raising projects in Nnewi town and Umudim Nnewi his native Community as the Chairman of the planning committees. He Chairs this Website Committee. He is a great apostle of selfless community service. He is currently the Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Umudim Nnewi Development Association Education Fund and the pioneer Chairman of the Scholarship Committee whose tenacity of purpose helped in stabilizing the program.
He is also the Secretary/Treasurer of the Board of Trustees of the Nnewi Improvement Union Education Trust Fund. He is a man of impeccable character and integrity. He was recently appointed by the Federal Government into the Quantity Surveyors Registration Board of Nigeria (QSRBN). He is the current REGISTRAR of the Board.
He is also an officer of the National Executive Council of the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NIQS) as the Secretary for Strategy and Logistics.
